Jay Redan, MD

A pioneer in the field of minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Redan has traveled the world teaching and training doctors in other countries about the benefits of his innovative and highly effective surgical techniques.
Dr. Redan received his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry N.J. Medical School. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and Army National Guard.
He is a noted consultant and lecturer on a range of medical topics as well as an instructor for several laparoscopic surgical instrument manufacturers. He has also published numerous research papers.
Dr. Redan serves on the editorial staff of the Journal of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and the Trocar, Journal of Robotic Surgery and Online video journal of Gynecologic and Surgical Laparoscopy.
