Can anyone tell me what causes adhesions??? I have been suffering with abdominal pain for a long time and my physicians tell me I have adhesions related disorder. Any help will be appreciated.

Adhesions can develop as the body attempts to heal or repair itself. This is a normal response that can occur after surgery, infection, trauma, or radiation.
